Thank you for the reply, the "look" of the Statement is not the issue - are you able to advise from what field on the invoice does the "description" field on the statement originate - see attached example
In the desktop version the "journal Memo" field populates the "drescription" field on the statement

Apologize for the late reply. Upon replicating the invoice statement on the browser version, the description showing at the invoice layout can be seen under the Item ID name that will auto populate when creating an invoice if you've selected the Item ID, you may refer to the screenshot I have provided below.

This is not a solution as I don't use Items I use a service format for invoices

Thanks for the response.
Apologize for the late reply. We’re sorry for the misunderstanding. We’re not asking you to use the Item ID. The Item ID will automatically be on the details when creating an invoice. If you’re looking where the description under the invoice layout is found, you will just need to click the drop-down arrow beside Item ID to be able to see the invoice description that will be showing on the printed invoices.

As advised I DO NOT use the ITEM id fields at all - invoices are " description only)
in the desktop version the "journal memo" field populates to the Description field on the Statement - this meant we could individualize each entry
