Receipt Capture - Does it slow my company file down?

Hi Everyone, Just wondering if anyone that is using the receipt capture function finds that it slows down the company file or makes backups take much longer?

My company file is already very big and quite sluggish. I don't want to start adding receipt pics if it is just going to slow it down even more.

Any advice or experiences would be appreciated!

    Hi BenTSA,

MYOB Capture syncs with MYOB Business and online AccountRight company files. Big files can really feel sluggish sometimes. Backups can take a smidge longer if you’ve got heaps of pics, so I suggest trying a small batch first and seeing how it goes. Keep attachments tidy and archive old stuff and you’ll be sweet. If you're still having difficulties in capturing despite trying the workaround suggested, give our live chat team a buzz via our virtual assistant MOCA or pop a support ticket through MyAccount so that we can help you make it work smoother.

    Cheers,

    Shella

    Thanks Shella,

I just don't want to even go down this path is it is going to impact the already slow performance. If you think it will, I will just not use this function. This is frustrating but not worth the risk. When you say "archive" what do you mean. How do I archive receipts if they are in a relevant Financial Year?
