Printing Item Code Pictures
Hi there,
How do we print off a picture in the item code? It seems strange that we can upload a picture but there is no option to print the picture? Where does the picture ever get viewed or used?

Hi Alex74,
I can see why that seems a little strange. The picture attached to an item is mainly there to help identify the item when you’re viewing its item record. There isn’t an option to print the item picture or include it on sales invoices, purchase orders, or other transaction forms. You can still view it by opening the item record, but it isn’t used as a printable field. For more information, see our help article on item pictures.

It would be great to be able to upload a pdf not just images and be able to print it. In our case a technical drawing or standard attached to the item code would be very beneficial. Even to just add a print function. Why cant we print it? I imagine that is 5 mins of coding?

Thanks for explaining how you’d use this. Being able to attach a technical drawing or product standard to an item would be a useful addition. The best place to submit this as a feature request is the MYOB AccountRight Ideas Exchange. You can search for a similar idea first and add your vote or comment, or create a new idea if you can’t find one.
