Camera in assist not working

The camera in assist just has a black screen. i have logged out and back in. I have deleted the app and reinstalled and the camera is still not working. Any ideas?

    Hi kat123,

     

    I can see how inconvenient it would be when the Assist camera is just showing a black screen, especially after you've already logged out, reinstalled the app, and tried again. A couple more things worth trying:

     

    • Give your phone a full restart (this can sometimes clear things up)
    • If possible, try logging into Assist on another device

    If it works on the other device, that usually means there's something in the settings on the original phone (like camera permissions or system restrictions) causing the issue.
