MYOB assist

Hi MYOB Team, I have many clients using MYOB and the capture app was perfect.  Now this new myob assist has changed things.  if logged in your software why do we need to logg into the app everytime ...

    Hi Dlmad​, we have an update that should help here.  Now anyone who has access to the MYOB Business file can use the MYOB Assist app to take a photo and upload a receipt or bill.  To learn more about the roles that can be assigned and what each can do - jump in here: Manage users

Hi Dlmad,

 

Totally, hear you. On the sign-in bit: if there’s no activity for 30 minutes, you’ll be asked to log in again; stay active in that first 30 minutes and you’ll stay signed in for 24 hours. For faster access, you can switch on biometrics: tap the More menu (bottom right) > Account Settings > Enable biometrics. On the photo quality, that’s not the experience we want thanks for flagging it.

 

Note: some devices don’t support biometrics.

  • Anything pre-2014/2015 flagship won’t have biometrics.
  • Budget lines (Nokia C, Alcatel 1, early Samsung J/A01) often skip sensors.
