I have a number of employees who are unable to see the timesheets they have logged on their MYOB Teams app.I have advised them to update the app as well as uninstall and reinstall, but it does not seem to help. Out of 100 employees I would have about 15% having issues. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Any advice.

Has there been any success on fixing the timesheet issue as of yet? Trying to move all our team over to myob team however still unable to add in timesheets. We are an AccountRight premier user

Hi SusieMcK, Thanks for your post. My apologies for the late response. Approved timesheets should also be visible for employees in the MYOB Team app by going to their profile and selecting Timesheet Records. When your employee tries to check their timesheets, did they receive any error messages? Also, kindly check if the timesheet preferences are turned on in your MYOB team. If you're already using timesheets in MYOB, you'll have this preference activated. Here's how to do it: Click on your business name and choose Payroll Settings. On the General payroll information tab, select Use timesheets to track employee hours. Choose the first day of your timesheet period from the Week Starts list. If your pay date varies—for example, if you pay monthly—it doesn't matter which day of the week you select. Click Save. Please also check if the employees are hourly or on salary, as timesheets can be submitted for hourly employees only. Secondly, go through the Setting up MYOB Team and Using MYOB Team App Help article to ensure every step has been followed. The main thing to check is if employees are added correctly under their managers. If nothing helps, delete the location and re-enter it again in the Locations tab, as that has happened to resolve the issue for some users. Lastly, kindly delete the existing timesheet, then re-enter it and try to submit it again. If the issue persists after following those steps above, please let us know so we can investigate further. Shella We have deleted the location and re added it, plus re invited all our staff. This has not resolved the issue.I had this reply from one of the staff members. “Just deleted the app, reinstalled, added yesterday’s timesheet, and still unable to see the timesheet I entered. Haven’t been able to see entered timesheets for quite some time” Additionally all previous timesheets have disappeared on our end, both past ones and timesheets for the current week that have not been approved. Please advice. Susie

Hi,

Has there been a fix to this, I submit my timesheets but the they dissapear straight away. I contacted support who where no help

Hi JWorkright,

I checked the case relating to this issue and found that this is still being worked on. Forum moderators do not receive direct updates regarding and changes made. I believe it's best to create a support ticket from the My Account page to see if there are any workarounds available for this.

In the meantime, feel free to create a new thread if you need any other help.

Deleting and then recreating the locations, and adding the employees again are the basic troubleshooting steps when having issues with MYOB Team app. These steps worked for other users. If you are having issues after doing the troubleshooting steps, it is highly recommended to advise your employee to resubmit their leave requests and create their timesheets again. You may check the Help Articles: Getting started with MYOB Team and Using the MYOB Team mobile app for more information regarding your concern.

Regarding your other concern about MYOB Team, you will need to use the 'MYOB Team' only as it is the app being for used SME (small to medium enterprise) customers.

Further to this, can you please explain the difference between MYOB Teams and MYOB Advanced Team.
Should we be using the advanced app?
I did notice that MYOB Team has a very low rating on the app store (1.9) whereas MYOB Advanced Teams has a rating of 4.

Any advice would be appreciated.

The issue has arisen since you had advised us to recreate the location and re-add all the employees on the original post were I had posted that some employees could not see their time sheets submitted on their app.

Since we have done this, we have employees unable to log back in, and we are unable to view or approve any leave requests.

Do you have any other advise, is this an issue with anyone else?

Please recreate the location and re-add the employees. Once done, kindly advise them to re-submit their leave requests so that it shows in the MYOB Team Admin portal. Let us know if you require further assistance with this.
