Thanks for your post and welcome here to the Community Forum. Thank you for sharing your inquiry with us. We regret that you are facing issues removing an employee from the MYOB Team list and we appreciate your effort and patience during this time.
If the employees have been added to the Employees tab of the MYOB Team, then they will stay there even after inactivating them in the software, but you can remove them from the Locations tab:
1) Go to the Locations tab on MYOB Team.
2) Click on the name of the Approving Manager.
3) A list of all employees added under that manager will appear.
4) Select the box next to the name of the employee that needs to be removed and then click on Remove as shown:

Hi Leneth
The problem is that the name is in the dropdown for "approving manager", but not in the employee list. He is not an approving manager. My name is on the employee list as approving manager but not in the drop down list for approving manager.
How do I get rid of his name?

Thank you for letting me know about this. To check this further, could you please provide me with a screenshot of what you can see on your end? Please hide/remove any sensitive employee/business details from screenshots posted publicly.
