Sole trader with two business names, email delivery.

My client is a sole trader 'Joe Blog' operating two businesses and issuing two different invoices.

I had originally set up his MYOB file as 'Joes Burgers' and set up two different templates: one as 'Joes Burgers' and ones as 'Joes cars'.  Unfortunately, during the email delivery all invoices were identified as being sent from 'Joes Burgers' and only the online invoice showed as burger or cars.

The only solution I have found is to name his MYOB business lite as his name 'Joe Blog' and change the invoice template title from 'invoice' to 'Joes Burgers' and 'Joes Cars' that way his emails are being sent from "Joe Blog' and the identifiers of 'Joes Burgers' and 'Joes Cars' are in the body of the invoice.

Does anyone have a more professional solution?  Sorry, I'm new to Business Lite.

  • Hi Wendy6171

Currently, MYOB Business Lite does not support the creation of multiple invoice templates with different logos within a single account. However, there are some customization options available that might help you achieve a more professional solution. For more detailed guidance, please see this help page

If these options do not fully meet your needs, you might consider using a workaround similar to what you have already implemented.
