28-45% increase on MYOB bill

Can anyone explain what’s been happening with MYOB pricing lately?

 

I’ve just realised our subscription fees have been quietly creeping up over the past year. One account has increased by 28%, and another by 45%. Without any notification that I can find.

 

The increase on our second file is almost double what we were paying. As a not-for-profit, we simply couldn’t budget for that without any warning, and it’s becoming difficult to justify.

 

After nearly 20 years of using MYOB, this is incredibly disappointing. If these sorts of price increases continue, we may have to start looking at other accounting software.

 

I’m hoping someone from MYOB might see this, as they often reply in this group. Has anyone else experienced the same thing, or can explain why the increases have been so significant?

    Please raise a case from your My Account dashboard if you have any questions or concerns regarding your bill. If you select the option 'My MYOB Bills and Payments', your case will be escalated directly to the billing team to look into. Please note we are experiencing a higher volume of cases due to end of financial year, so it may take a little longer to get back to you than normal.
