Error 243

Hi JelsenBP​ - thanks for the question, and sorry to hear you're having trouble importing from RetailManager.

 

This error usually means AccountRight has found more than one supplier card that matches the supplier on the purchase order, so it doesn’t know which card to use.

To fix it:

1. In RetailManager, go to Information > Suppliers and note the supplier name used on the purchase order.
2. In AccountRight, go to Card File > Cards List > Suppliers and search for that supplier. If there are duplicate cards for the same supplier, combine them. If they’re different suppliers or branches, give the cards unique names.
3. Check that the supplier name in RetailManager and AccountRight matches exactly, including spelling, spaces and capitalisation. If the name is longer than 30 characters, shorten it consistently in both places.
4. Re-export the accounting information from RetailManager, then try the import again. The purchase order won’t be imported until the error is fixed.
