annual leave set up for 4 weeks on 1 week off

Hi

is there any way on the annual leave tab to set up an employee that works 4 weeks on and has 1 week off very year. as it works out to be 43.6 weeks that he works not 52 weeks,

52 /5 (4 on and +1 off = 5 )= 10.4 weeks off/year

52 weeks -10.4 weeks = 43.6 weeks on

thanks

Leave without pay up to a week each time is still considered continuous employment, therefore the leave calculation would need to be 4 weeks over 52 weeks of earnings (including the unpaid weeks). The divisor would not change.

    Hi Tarnz_1

Which payroll programme are you using?

So the employee doesn't get paid for the week off? - however they would still deemed to be employed, so I think it would need to be based on 52 weeks a year albeit the earnings would be over 43 weeks. You could possible proess leaves without pay for the weeks off. However I think more specialist HR advice would be needed.
