Payroll won't update to new financial year

    Hi jenniek 

     

    I have figured out it is because I am trying to process wages for a period earlier than april that I need to pay now. If I change the period date to april it will update but otherwise it just keeps giving me the error message.

     

    To work around it I changed the pay period date to april, updated the PAYE period into the new FY and then changed the pay period date back. Pretty ridiculous but many thanks for your replies and suggestion.

I have attached the error message. This is on the MYOB Payroll desktop app and it is the latest version.

Hi AnnaF 

We haven't seen that issue - however check you dates? Make sure you are using 2020 as the year.

Have you tried doing this via the Update PAYE period on the process pays screen.
