AccountRight 2020.4.2 unable to see data in Purchase Register

I have upgraded to AccountRight 2020.4.2 and I am unable to see data in Purchase Register for December when exporting to print.  I can see the data on my PC screen, but when I click on print, it says there is no information to display.  It only appears to do this when putting the date range for December 2020 in.  I can change the date range to the month of November and I can print to PDF no problems.  Is anyone else having this issue with the recent upgrade and what can we do to correct this.  Need this fix ASAP.  Cheers,

When displaying reports in AccountRight, if a user does make a change to the filters you would need to select Run Report of the Filters tab. This will ensure that the additional charges are added to the report before presenting it on screen.

If you are finding that information is being retained after selecting that Run Report function we would recommend clearing the AccountRight cache

  • Hi SEWS5290

When selecting Print on the Purchase Register the Purchase Register Detail [All Purchases] report is produced. We are aware that this particular report can encounter a Nothing to Display error message. This situation is caused by having a (or multiple) Professional or Miscellaneous layout based purchase(s) trying to display.

If the selection period does have a small number of transactions, do open them up and check the layout of the transaction. To prevent that situation from occurring and allowing the report to run you want to ensure that the layout of those transactions is set to be Item or Service. If you have a large number of transactions, use the File>>Import/Export Assistant to export our the purchases out along with the layout field to help to identify those impacted transactions to look at needing to be adjusted.

Alternatively, if it's a time pressure situation, on the Purchase Register window, right-click on the table and select Copy List to Clipboard. This would copy the listed records on screen so it can be pasted into Excel or Word or another application to see that data.

    • Hi Steven,

Thank you for replying.  I have checked all bills and orders in the pruchase register for December and they are all 'Service' layout as they should be.  I changed the date range to 1st - 30th December, and the report does show information ready to print, however it is not showing all bills/orders that are recorded in MYOB for this particular date range, which can be seen on the PC screen before going to the print screen?  I can only view to print purchases/orders upto 24th December, even though the date range is 30th December and I know there are several bills that should be included in this report, included for 31st December.  But as soon as I put the 31.12.20 in the date range I get the No Information To Display message.  Very strange and slightly concerning that we are missing information.

Has anyone else come forward with this issue?

      Cheers,

        Hi SEWS5290

Sounds like you have two situations occurring here:

        • Can't generate the report for the date that includes 31/12
        • The report that is being generated is not including all transactions

If that is the case, are there any transactions on 31/12? If so, what layout are those bills? Did you complete a different process to add those transactions i.e. they were added via importing/using a third-party application?

In terms of not showing all transactions, I would make sure that you do have the appropriate filters and you have selected Run Report. If you are still not encountering that situation we would need to grab a screenshot of the Purchase Register showing those transactions and a copy of that Purchase Register Report to investigate further.
