GST online filing problem Re: AccountRight

Hi there,

 

There was some technical problem on the MYOB GST online filing page while I was filing the Aug/Sep 2026 GST. 

 

I filed it in MYOB AccountRight, "File Online".  In the final step, after clicking on the upper right-hand green button "File", the screen just flashed and nothing happened.  When I checked the "GST & provisional tax filing" list,   the “Period End 30 Sep 2026” GST shows as “Completed”,  but not “Filed” as previous periods.  

 

Have tried multiple times, but still failed.  Could you please help looking into this matter?

    Hi Anna-UL, 

     

    Thanks for sharing your issue here; it certainly is rare for the GST report not to report, but still appear completed. The “Completed” status means the software has completed the process but hasn’t received confirmation from Inland Revenue that the return was successfully filed.

     

    I recommend following these steps/checks:

    1. Confirm that the IRD login used in MYOB has filing authority for the client and isn’t limited to view-only access.
    2. Reauthenticate using the client’s authorised Principal Tax Agent login, then try filing the return again.
    3. Check myIR to confirm whether there’s already a draft or submitted return for the same period before trying to file again.

    If the issue isn’t resolved after doing this, it’s best to reach out to our support team so they can check and help troubleshoot further.
