Sorry to hear about your inventory-on-hand value difference. In my understanding, the on-hand quantity value of the inventory item from the item list is different from the item register because the item register is pulling data from date ranges. While the items list provides data values for all time, the item register shows data for a certain date range.
Feel free to let us know if your Inventory Value Reconciliation report does not match the current on-hand values in the item list (as suggested by gavin12345), as this means that you have inventory data issues.

Thanks for responding.
Understand that the register is using date ranges to pull the data however I can set a 10 year date range, 5 back and 5 forward, and see the same result.
I can confirm my reconciliation report quantity matches the on hand hand quantity shown in the item list.
