Where a transaction amount will appear on the statement for ageing purposes will depend on the terms of the transaction. You can see the terms/due date of the transaction by opening up that transaction and selecting the Terms arrow (top right of the Edit Sales window).
In your case, I would be reviewing the due date of that invoice and then comparing that to the entered statement date as this would determine where it should appear on that statement.
If you are still needing assistance with this situation getting the following information would be required:
- the invoice date
- the terms of the invoice
- the date of the invoice
- a copy of the statement
