Thank goodness you are getting your team to look at it and fix it.
We mirror all of the above comments. Wasted a good amount of time today trying to get rid of that 'how to pay' page with the QR code.
We did work out how to turn off online payments (Setup > Preferences > Emailing tab > Edit payment options > Uncheck the option that allows online payments > and don't forget to click SAVE). Adding this just in case it helps someone else.
We thought that doing that would automatically remove the 'how to pay' page, and were surprised to find it did not.
I guess now finding out from the comments of fellow users, and your acknowledgment that there isn't a current work around, we will stop trying.
My husband wants me to add that it is embarrassing to email a customer an invoice for $25,000 with a how to pay QR page attached. He is quite annoyed and wants a solution asap!
