Echoing the frustrations of all the other commenters.
I even went as far as creating a new customised invoice template in the web browser, only to discover that it doesn't carry across to the desktop app, which is what we predominantly use. So unfortunately that's not even a viable workaround. To make matters worse, I was actually happy with the new invoice template.
I also noticed that PayPal and Pay in 4 are included as payment options, which isn't something we want to offer our customers.
It certainly feels like there's a push to move users away from the desktop app and towards the browser version, especially with the recent changes to the desktop app login process. What's frustrating is that features and customisations seem to be developed for the browser first, yet there isn't consistency between the two platforms. If the desktop app is still being promoted as a supported product, core functions like invoice templates should work seamlessly across both.
