Invoicing only part of a Customer Order

The order consists of a Job Description and the components, or stock required to complete the job (i.e. Bill of Materials). We send a detailed copy of the order to the factory so they know what items to take out of stock and assemble.
We dont want the customer to see the components that make up that job, but we want to commit the stock when we enter the order, and reduce the stock when we invoice.
We want to have the selling price on the job description, but the cost of the compnents to be included, but not shown.
Is this possible, and can it be done n the onine version?
