MYOB ERROR | MYOB.Huxley.API.HuxleyApplicationException

Hi There, Have been experiencing an error with MYOB today. Currently not allowing us to import sales data and forcing a restart of MYOB. In the error log there is no specific error code, however the following is listed MYOB.Huxley.API.HuxleyApplicationException. Can anyone please assist urgently. Thank you.
  • Hi Fatima2

If there are some formatting issues within the .csv file, it would be best to change the format, sometimes saving the .csv files to a different location or changing the file name can work as well. That said, if there are any other changes to it, we will post an update.

  • Hi Fatima2

Are you able to attach the entire log here so we can check if there is anything else causing it ?

    Hi Fatima2

We have seen this issue happening when importing .csv files, therefore, can you please try the following steps and let me know if the issue is then resolved:

Firstly, could you please clear your AccountRight cache which you can find the steps from our post here.

Then if you can try importing again, if you still get the same error can you try importing the file as a .txt (tab-delimited) instead, please. You can do this by opening the file in Excel then going to the File Menu and into Save As, from there click on Browse and change the Save As type to Text (Tab Delimited) .txt

Then can you try importing the file again into AccountRight as that should no longer produce the error you are getting. Just make sure you change the Import Format in Step Three to Tab instead of Commas:

Thank you. Changing the file to .txt has worked for this instance. However, we will need a solution to continue importing .CSV files, as it is a daily function we utilise. Could this please be looked into over the long term, it poses a great inconvenience to add the additional step of creating a tab delimited file each time we need to import data. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
