Ongoing MYOB Issues (Serious Concerns)

Hello,

We are again starting to notice that we are losing emails from both Payroll & Invoicing. We had this problem (primarily invoices going missing) back in 2020 which was ongoing for 9 months & caused immense stress for both ourselves & our customers.

We have also logged a seperate issue recently where our sales order was sent to one of our customers with ANOTHER BUSINESSES sales detailes! This wasn't a related entity, or another of our MYOB company files, this was a completely unrelated company, owned by people 1000kms away in another state that we don't know! It had THEIR CUSTOMER NAME & DETAILS ON IT, their inventory items, their sell prices, line item descriptions, etc. on our invoice header sent to OUR CUSTOMER. You couldn't get this fundamentally more WRONG if you tried.

This suggests that MYOB's data structure is "leaking" between separate & completely unrelated entities. Meaning that companies completely unknown to each other are having their data mixed up by MYOB. This is beyond a case of simply having a major concern & the blaze attitude we have recieved in response from MYOB has done nothing but compound our concerns. This should be the most basic function of DB management, keeping customers' files seperate & maintaining data integrity at all times.

So between losing emails & having those that do go through sometimes containing business dealings of unrelated entities we can't see how MYOB can say their services are fit for purpose. We are now considering reporting MYOB to the Australian Consumer & Competition Commission if we can not get a acceptable resolution to this matter. It's simply not good enough to say "We're looking into it." You get paid for a service YOU ARE NOT FUNDAMENTALLY DELIVERING.

I would like to think the fact that erroneous business records could effect tax reporting may prompt a bigger dog to start barking, one that has teeth also. We see that we are certainly not the only ones having this problem.

We wait to hear a public response here on the forum. Thank you...
