printing statement or receipt from customer card directly

is there a way we can print or generate a customer's statement directly from their customer card or the Aged Receivables screen rather than having to load all customer statements in the review screen first, which is sometimes time consuming when you just want to quickly send a one-off statement?

Also, similar thing to printing a customer receipt or remittance, would be good if we could print or email these straight from the transaction screen eg. viewing a payment in the Receive Payments window and having the option to print a receipt of that payment directly from that screen. You can't even print that screen if you want and i thought this was something we used to be able to do with the previous MYOB program years ago.

    Hi natk,

Having a way to print receipts and statements directly from the card would definitely make things more convenient. At the moment, statements still need to be done through Sales > Print/Email Statements, and receipts still need to be done through Print/Email Receipts.

So there isn’t currently a direct way to print or email a statement from the customer card, or to print a receipt straight from the Receive Payments window.

I’d recommend posting this on the Ideas Exchange board so other users can vote on it and the dev team can gauge interest in a feature like this.

    Regards,
    Genreve

    Hi natk,

Thanks for checking that. It sounds like the publishing error is coming from an invalid tag in the form or template. Could you please check the tags used there and just click the Sales tag only, and don’t add a new one, then try publishing again? If it still comes up after that, please send through a screenshot of the tags and we’ll take a closer look.

    Regards,

    Sai

    Hi Isaiah

Sorry i'm not really sure what you mean as i didn't add any tags that i know of and not even sure what they are in order to take a screenshot of "the tags". Sorry, not that tech-savvy, i simply copied and pasted my initial post from here into the ideas exchange.

    Hi Isaiah

I re-copied and pasted as "plain text" as the error message mentioned it contained invalid HTML. Not sure what that is but it worked :)
