Setting a default sales template when moving from Desktop to Browser

Hi,

We are currently using the desktop and would like to make use of the browser for sales and quotes.

I can see the template from the desktop in the browser where you can set the default template for use, however I dont have the option to make it a default template. Do I need to recreate the sales template in the browser in order to set is a  default?

Is it as easy as copying from the desktop and pasting into the browser?

Thank you

Michelle

  • Hi @mkapm,

    Thanks for reaching out.

If you're looking to set a default template in the browser, you might need to recreate the sales template. You can't simply set your existing AccountRight desktop templates as default in the browser version. For more information, please refer to this Help article: Personalising invoices.

As for copying and pasting from desktop to browser, it's not really doable because of the limited customization options available in the browser window.

      Thank you for your help!

Looks like I'll be starting from scratch. There have been several attempts to create one in the past, prior to me being employed here. Could you tell me what the default layout is for a services invoice originally created by MYOB?

      Thank you

      Michelle

        Hi mkapm,

If you're looking for a default invoice layout originally created by MYOB, it depends on what type of invoice you need to use. The ones that we have in AccountRight, are the default invoice templates below.
