Tracking in Cash Sales
Just wondering how other businesses handle cash sales?
I would say 80% of our business are cash sales. Some are large and regular customers, others may be one offs. These all go through the one cash sale account.
But this makes it pretty much impossible to track/search for previous customers. We don't really want to set up a card for every single customer that walks through the door. However, we do sometimes get a small customer that may come back months later and request the same items as last time...so we would like an easier way to search for this customer.
Is there another way to handle this? Is it possible to have a blank card for cash sales, but that allows us to change the name each time it is used? So they would all come under that account, but we could search by the customer name within that account?
