Unlinking Invoice

There used to be an unlink icon where the invoice is attached to the transaction... I can no longer see it and I need to unlink a document that has been incorrectly linked.  WHY cay I no longer do this simple thing? PLEASE someone help me... it's also just taken far TOO long to link docs because when I check the box to bring up paid invoices it gives me EVERYTHING back to 2014 so heaps and heaps of scrolling - this used to only bring up the invoices that didn't have a document linked to it.   WHY has this also changed?

    With the release of AccountRight 2019.4, we added the ability to attach more than one document to a Bill transaction. As a result of that, the In Tray document and the options for that (unlink, enlarge...) have been moved into the Attachments button on the Edit Purchase window (located at the top of the window).

     

    To unlink a document attached to a purchase with AccountRight 2019.4, you do now need to go into the transaction, select the Attachments option before highlight the desired document and selecting Remove (at the top of the Bill Attachments window).

      Thank you Sir, that worked and I've successfully deleted the incorrect attachment and fixed the correct one to the transaction.  Your instruction was clear and concise.  Is there a way to NOT have all the entries going back to 2014 come up when I'm trying to attach a document via the In Tray.  I'm pretty sure it used to only come up with the transactions that didn't have an attachment...  I guess that's changed now that you can attach more than one doc to the transaction... I don't believe it's very helpful.  Previously if I needed to attach more than one doc - I'd just scan the two together and will continue to do so, which means only one attachment is needed.  sifting through zillions of transactions to find the one I want is such a SLOW way of doing it...   And NO I can't attach as I go along, as we are NFP organisation with audited accounts, so every invoice has to be stamped 'Approved' and initialled by the Manager after it has been stamped 'Posted' with its code information written on it.

        Currently, the Link to existing bill window will list all bills, there is no provision in AccountRight 2019.4 to remove a transaction from that list.

         

        If you do wish to limit the list to make the transaction you intend to link the document to easier to find, you could look at select the Supplier from the dropbox provider. Alternatively, if you click into the table and select Shift+CTRL+F this will bring up the Advanced filtering for that window. This will allow you to search for a record on-screen. For example:
