23/24 Payment Summary Amendment in AR

Hi, I need to amend an employee's payment summary for 23/24 and have been advised by ATO that due to the original payment summary being lodged via STP2 the amendment also needs to be lodged via STP2.  There isn't an option for Payroll year 2023/24 to select under Single Touch Payroll reporting in Accountright Online - is there another way to lodge the amendment via STP2?

    Suggest you get in touch with Namich. They have helped numerous MYOB users in similar situation. MYOB's STP system is quite limited in some regards such as amendments. STP Creator is far more flexible and can be used for one offs like this, even if you don't use STP Creator regularly. You may need their assistance, which can be provided remotely. But it can be done, without upsetting your current reporting.

    Thank you for your assistance.  I have contacted Namich in regard to their STP creator and hopefully this will help us solve the issue.

    Hi

     

    I have the same issue and have approached the ATO and MYOB without any solution to the matter.  Were you able to process an amendment with the ATO and would you be willing to share the process?

    Hi BronJay2025,

    Thanks for providing the details. For 23/24, there isn’t an STP Reporting Centre option in AccountRight Online, the STP 2 list only supports the prior and current payroll years (2024–25 and 2025–26).

    Because 2023/24 can’t be selected in AR, any amendment for that year needs to be lodged manually with the ATO.
