Deleted Payrun - Single Touch Payroll lodged

Question

Hello,&nbsp;In December, before we shut down for the month.&nbsp; I process my employees pays.&nbsp;&nbsp;I did pick up that one pay was processed twice and did not pay him twice however, the Single Touch Payroll was lodged for this transaction in error.&nbsp;&nbsp;Instead of reversing the payrun, I deleted it and now my STP with the ATO is out by this exact amount.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;I see that I cannot reverse the STP but have to reverse the payrun...&nbsp;Are you able to provide the steps to help me rectify this please.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Hi Muzzy,Thanks for laying out what happened. You’re right that you can’t “reverse” an STP report on its own — the fix is done via the pay run and an STP update event instead. Before sending an update event, make sure the Payroll Activity and Payroll Register reports for the employee match.I hope this helps!Regards,Earl
