I have noticed that a Direct Debit can take up to 5 days to be processed when paying superannuation. With Same day super coming into effect on the 1st July 2026 will the Direct Debit occur in a more timely manner to comply with legislation?

Generally, direct debit super payments can take up to 7 days to process. With the upcoming changes, there'll be some adjustments on our end, but processing is still expected to be around the 5-day mark. Here's a link with more info around this: Payday Super: A Complete Small Business Guide.
