Employee Self-Onboarding
Is there an issue with the the employee self-onboarding please. I have been trying to send to a new employee and keep get the failed message, try again later.

There haven’t been any widespread issues reported with sending Employee Self-Onboarding invitations, although a few users have experienced the same “failed, try again later” message. First, check your business’s general payroll information:
- Go to Setup menu > General Payroll Information.
- Make sure all required payroll details are completed, especially if you’re seeing a message about missing information.
- Save the changes, then try sending the Employee Self-Onboarding invitation again.
You can also try sending the invitation from the browser version:
- Go to app.myob.com.
- Select Payroll > Employees.
- Follow the self-onboarding steps in this guide: Employee self-onboarding.
If the same error continues after these checks, you can contact our support team via the Contact Us page so they can check what’s causing the invitation to fail.
