ETP table Type O not putting tax as ETP withholding only PAYG Withholding

I have set up a payroll category as payment in lieu of notice, put payment type as ETP taxable. I ran payroll it asked ETP type I put in O. But the ETP withholding never shows it only has PAYG withholding. SO when I look at their payment summary the ETP tax is zero as per below. How doI fix this as it did it in the desktop version but doesn't give any option to change tax to ETP -withholding . PLEASE HELP

    Hi AS4,

Thanks for the screenshot. You're right, even when you choose ETP Type O, AccountRight still treats the tax as normal PAYG Withholding, it doesn’t automatically move it to ETP – tax withholding.

To get it reporting as ETP tax instead:

    • Set up a deduction like ETP Tax Withheld with ATO category ETP – Tax Withholding, and link it to the employee.
    • Exempt your ETP – Taxable wage category from PAYG Withholding.
    • Reverse that original ETP pay and redo it so:
      • The gross goes on ETP – Taxable,
      • The tax goes on ETP Tax Withheld, and
      • The normal PAYG line is $0.
    • Then send an STP update so the ETP tax shows in the right spot on their summary.

If you want the full step‑by‑step, this help article walks through the ETP setup and pay:
