Hi nduro,
That’s a fair concern, especially when it comes to employee privacy and security.
At the moment, the Contact Log permission applies across all card types, so if a user has access to Card > Contact Log, that also gives them access to employee contact logs.
It would definitely be more practical if this could be split out more cleanly for customer/supplier records only. If you’d like to see that improved, I’d encourage you to add it to our Ideas Board as an enhancement request for user roles and permissions.
