Get rid off self-onboarding invitation
Hi All, I'm having the same issue again when setting a new starter. I don't want them to complete anything from their end, it seems I can't disable the automatic invitation that gets sent to them...

Totally get how challenging that would be, especially when you've already unticked the boxes and it still fires off the invite. If you'd rather add the employee manually and fill in all their details yourself (no self-onboarding from their end), there is a setting you can lock in:
Here's the trick:
- Head to Setup > General Payroll Information
- Look for Invite employees to self-onboard
- Change this to Optional, ask me every time
- Click OK to save
With that set, MYOB will stop automatically sending the invite and will prompt you instead so you stay in full control.
