Hi We have an employee that wishes to take LSL & AL @ half pay. My understanding is that I need to set up 2 new payroll categories for both LSL & AL @ 50% of their usual rate.
When entering their 76 hours in the timesheet for the fortnight how do I set it up so that the LSL & AL entitlement hours are used at a rate of 50% also.

Hey Liza15,
You’re spot on setting up two new payroll categories for Annual Leave and Long Service Leave half pay. Make sure to set the pay rate to 0.5000 instead of 1.0000. For the fortnight, enter the 76 hours on the timesheet, then allocate the hours you want paid at half rate to those new categories so the pay calculates at 50%.
