Hi, I had same question with regard to updating tax tables. Was advised apparently the tables are updated although the date doesn't reflect the update until the payroll is commenced. To confirm, I started a payroll and then backed out of it so didn't save and the revised date updated to 1 July 24. I did see a note in one of the helps that didn't need to start a new financial year anymore for Payroll.
