Great question! Sorry for the late reply. Flare can be a bit tricky to set up, so it’s important to get it right. Flare isn’t required if the novated lease is with another provider, it’s mainly used for MYOB’s integrated novated lease workflow and the auto-filled novated lease screen. For a non-Flare lease, especially when it comes to which accounts to use, it’s best to check with your accountant or financial advisor to make sure the employee’s novated lease is set up correctly.
