Pay Run showing as 0 on STP reporting centre

Morning,

I have had the same problem, we have some people on weekly and some on monthly pays.

I did the pays yesterday, the runs show up in the software and on the web page (payroll/payruns) but the STP reporting shows 0. 

I was definitely connected to the web, entered my name as per usual but it didn't ask if new or updated pay run.

This is a new laptop and the first time running pays on it.

Is there a setting or something I havent clicked on?

    Hi Kelbel6,

     

    If you run a pay with an old date, the system reads it as an update event and just sends a zero off to the ATO in the STP report. Nothing to stress about, your YTD figures will still be spot on. If you want to double-check, just have a look at your YTD verification, payroll activity, and register reports. They should all match up.

      Hi Sheila,

      Thanks for the answers, normally I get asked if its new or an update.

      Ands its not reporting through to the ATO.

      So instead of the STP autofill for the activity statement, I have $0.

        Hi Kelbel6,

         

        If STP isn’t auto filling and you’re seeing $0 on the activity statement, you can just pop in the correct figures manually in BAS. Just make sure your payroll reports are spot on. As long as those numbers line up, you’re all good!
