Pay Super, straight from AccountRight

Hi Everyone, whilst I understand the mechanic of what to do here I do have a question around the Bank Details.

What if you do not have bank feeds setup, are still able to give your bank details through the Pay Super set up and pay your Super every week?

Thanks for listening

  • Hi SPSC

I can see where your worry is coming from. The bank feeds and pay super functions are separate features in your software. If you processed the payment through Pay Super in AccountRight, bank feeds aren’t required for the payment to be made or for it to be recorded in MYOB. Bank feeds are mainly there to bring bank transactions into the file for reconciliation.

If the payment was made through Pay Super, you generally shouldn’t need to record it again manually. If the super was paid outside Pay Super, that’s when you’d record it against the super liability so your balances stay correct.

Here are some reference links if you'd like to know how the bank feeds and pay super functions:

    Hi dieseldigit,

Great question. You're definitely not alone wondering about that one. The good news is, you don't need bank feeds set up to use Pay Super. You can still enter your bank details during the Pay Super setup and process your super payments each week without any dramas. Bank feeds are more for automatically bringing transactions into your file for easy recon. They're not a requirement for actually making super payments. As long as your bank details are entered correctly in Pay Super, you're good to go.

    Regards,

    Sai

I have processed a payday super payment, but I do not use bank feed. Will the payment made through payday super be captured in bank register ? If not, what should I do to capture the payment made through payday super?
