Pay Super

n our list of superannuation funds (accountright) we have a lot of funds that are no longer active or that have merged with other funds.  We currently use a clearing house for our super payments and ...

    Hey flashpip64​,

     

    You’re right to want tighter controls so old or merged funds can’t slip through. There isn't a way to make a merged or obsolete super fund inactive. The simple workaround is to rename the old fund and stick a letter at the front like Z or ZZZ so it drops to the bottom of the list. That keeps it out of the way and helps prevent it being picked by mistake.
