Payday Super

Hi,

I am attempting to process Payday super for one of my employees and receiving the error "This fund can no longer receive contributions using Pay Superannuation. Please edit the fund ........."

The fund is Future Super, ABN: 68 964 712 340 USI: 68964712340019 which is an APRA registered fund with no contribution restrictions per the Super Fund lookup tool, PDF attached. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Bronwyn

  • Hi BronwynHamster,

Thanks for the screenshot. A good way to tackle this is to set the fund up again, reassign it to the employee, and then try processing Pay Super once more. Here’s the cozy checklist:

    • Create a new super fund in Lists > Superannuation Funds
    • If you get a warning that the fund name already exists, just add a number or letter to the end of the name
    • Assign this new super fund to the employee card via Payroll Details > Superannuation
    • Try processing Pay Super again

If that still doesn’t fix the error, you’ll need to reach out to our support team via the Contact Us page so they can check what seems to be going on.

    Cheers,

    Doreen

    Hi BronwynHamster,

Glad that did the trick! It is a bit odd, but sometimes MYOB can throw up a random glitch if the fund details haven’t validated properly, something’s gone a bit wonky in the background. Recreating the fund usually gives it a fresh reset and gets things back on track.

Thanks Doreen! That worked. However, why does MYOB suddenly think an APRA registered fund is not accepting superannuation contributions when it clearly is.

    Cheers, Bronwyn
