paying wages via manual bank transfer

i own a small business and planing to hire 1 casual worker.

 

i want to pay the worker with bank transfer not a bank file. 

 

How do i do it properly via MYOB?

    Thank you for your post. I'd like to extend you a warm welcome to the Community Forum. I hope you find it a valuable resource.

     

    It is important to have your account set up properly, when paying wages manually. You can process payroll in MYOB and manually do your payment with the bank. There are two things you must set up, first is the employee's Payment method to Cash (or Cheque). Then check the linked accounts, to ensure the linked account under Setup >> Linked accounts >> Payroll Accounts is set to the bank account you will be taking the funds out. Please see the sample screenshot below:
