Has anyone had trouble with sending payroll information to the ATO today?? I keep getting an error message "something went wrong - the action couldn't be completed - please try again in a moment". ...

We have staff who are getting errors today. When they have logged in it's asking us to setup single touch payroll reporting again.

It is certainly confusing when the software asks you to set up STP when you've already done it. That prompt to set up STP again usually pops up when the system can’t quite tick off all the checks it runs in the background. It’s basically asking you to walk through the setup so it can reconfirm your business and payroll details.
The best (and safest) way forward is just to follow the setup steps through to the end so everything can be re‑validated. It only takes a few screens, and once that’s done, you should be able to send your STP reports as normal again.
