PNG Tax Tables in MYOB AccountRight

Hi everyone and MYOB Support Team,

Greetings from PNG to you all,

 

As one of the MYOB partners in Papua New Guinea, I am receiving increasing requests from institutions (NGO, SME, DISTRICTS...) to install and set up MYOB AccountRight.

Could you please confirm whether PNG Salary and Wages Tax tables can be created or imported into AccountRight? If not, please advise on the best alternative options available to manage this limitation.

There is strong demand for MYOB in PNG, and support for PNG tax tables would greatly benefit local users.

    Thanks for reaching out and sharing your business's interest in PNG.

     

    AccountRight’s payroll tax tables are designed for Australia and New Zealand, so you can’t create or import PNG salary and wages tax tables into the software. The available workaround is to calculate the PNG tax manually outside AccountRight and process the result manually. However, the software isn’t designed to handle PNG payroll or tax calculations.
