Hi Tracey_H
If our employees have the correct super fund selcted, why would MYOB send us a pop up and email to stay that Action is Required on our part??? It doesn't make any sense...
I’m so annoyed that these messages were so poorly implemented. They have wasted a couple of hours of my day trying to get to the bottom of what was the “Action Required” from us, and also the time of some of our employees who we asked to provide updated QSuper information when they had not been notified of any required changes. The information after clicking the “Learn more” button was not helpful. QSuper must be inundated with needless enquiries becasue of this, too.
As far as I can tell from the forums, QSuper are telling people that NO CHANGES NEED TO BE MADE IN MYOB to QSuper details in MYOB due to the merge. None of our active employees are with Sunsuper, and former employees with Sunsuper have already had their details changed to .
There is NO “Action Required” for us, so WHY OH WHY tell us that there is?? We need to trust what you say, MYOB, so you MUST to give us information we can rely on, otherwise what is the point!
I also note that there seems to be another clear mistake in the AccountRight pop-up announcement and email, which further hindered me from quickly getting to the bottom of the situation: MYOB says Sunsuper and QSuper have merged to Australian Retirement FUND. But according to australianretirmenttrust.com.au, “Sunsuper is actually now Australian Retirement TRUST. Australian Retirement FUND was a different super fund that no longer exists”.
Could you maybe update the pop-up message, or send our a more helpful, accurate and correct message, to prevent others from having to waste their time?
And I do still have one unresolved concern from the message: "you have one or more employees with an inactive superfund" How can I check which employees have inactive super funds, or is this only supposed to apply to QSuper/Sunsuper/ART (in which case, I have checked those ones, and all is actually fine)?
Thank you.
[Edit: I corrected some instances where I mistakenly said Suncorp instead of Sunsuper]
