Thanks Sean_DC for the reply - much appreciated.
However, I could not delete, nor could I reverse the transaction because it was saying that the category was missing. A catch 22 really. I did the manual adjustment, and have since done another payrun (or two..) - so I'm hoping now it all comes out in the wash and doesn't come back to bite me come end of fin yr!
