I have been submitted 5 payroll runs for this year. I have one employee that salary sacrifices 100% of the salary. I have been submitting this one employee's payroll separately due to the problem and it has been rejected each time. The last 3 times I actually processed and submitted through the browser. When will this error be fixed?

It is not reasonable for me to do them separately, as I have about 40 people who salary sacrifice, so at the moment I am just saying record, and not going into the message, they are being accepted at this stage, but I don’t like it, would much rather it all be working ok.
My understanding is that it has something to do with the STP phase 2, and that it will be fixed, other people might know more.

We are aware that some users are getting the ATO error code: CMN.ATO.PAYEVNTEMP.000389, which sounds like the error you are receiving.
There is a post on the Community Forum homepage, with an explanation and workaround regarding that error message: CMN.ATO.PAYEVNTEMP.000389.
