Restarting a past employee

We have an employee that resigned and left in Feb this year. He was terminated in MYOB at the time. He has now recommenced employment with us, can I reinstate him? or do I have to re enter him again...

    Thank you for reaching out to MYOB community!

     

    The same employee card can be reused. As Bluewave  mentioned it involves simply unticking the inactive box and remove the termination date. Change the start date to reflect the new start date and undo the STP finalisation to continue with STP reporting.

Hello

 

If the past employee had left a couple of years ago and you wanted to re-use their employee card is there any way you can still do Employee Self-Onboarding for them in order to update employee details on the card?

    Hi mechgas 

     

    Thanks for the post. Apologies for the delayed response. At this stage, employee onboarding cannot be applied for reinstated/reactivated employee cards. But the good news is, that we have already started working on this and we will be notified once it is live in the product.
