salary sacrefice for super

I need to understand how do you do salary sacrefice in myob:   1. setting the salary sacrefice. 2. paying salary sacrefice when I run a pay run.  3. pay the liability of the salary sacrefice, how...

may I please ask: how do you do this? 

 

"2 you can link the salary sacrifice to the super liability account" - I pay via MYOB, so it doesn't matter. 

 

this is how it was set up in the system - see attached.

That is perfect

the 2-2006 is the liability account so all good

    one follow up question if I may: now all those payments are accumilated in this liability account, how do you acctualy take them from there and pay them as super expenses? Manuel journal? or the system knows that it relate to super and pays them as super when you use the super payment option?

      Do you go into pay superannuation liabilities when you pay your super?

       

      If so it should appear there

       

      once you have processed a payrun with the super sal sac I would take a look at it and see how it shows , but I think that choosing super would include all superannuation payments be they SGC or sal sac
