    When lodging the IAS and reporting total gross wages, you should report the total gross wage amount before the salary sacrifice deduction. The ATO prefilled total gross wages may appear short by the salary sacrifice amount because salary sacrifice is a pre-tax deduction and reduces the gross wages reported.
