So in practice, would it be that the employees fill out their timesheets in Teams including all hours. Once approved by managers, payroll staff could amend each individual's hours in the pay run process to reduce hours to total the standard hours and convert the extra hours to a flex leave entitlement? Sounds a little messy but potentially do-able? Does that sound right?

Yes, that's right! The person handling the pay run is the one who’ll put in your staff’s final hours. It’s correct to reduce any extra hours and convert those to flex time as needed.
