STP Finalisation amendments for prior year 2023

Hi    I'd like to know how we could amend an employee's payment summary details in 2023 when the EOFY finalisation is showing 2024 and 2025?   Thanks A

Hi Amy5,

 

I get that sometimes we need to tweak last year's financial reports. Right now, the app doesn't handle that directly—it's set up for the current and previous years only. You'll have to send the amended reports to the ATO manually.

Essentially I've rang up the ATO and the ATO strongly suggested the software providers to unfinalised the STP data for the 2023 as they are unable to amend from their end as well.

 

Is there any other possible ways for us to do this?

    Hi Amy5,

     

    I understand that you're looking for a way to amend your STP finalisation for the 2022/23 payroll year. However, our STP EOFY payroll year only covers previous (2023/24) and current (2024/25). For the 2022/23 payroll year, you'll have to manually lodge forms directly with the ATO.
